Winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Hyderabad scored 59 runs in the last four overs and that pushed them to a fighting total. Playing his first match of the season, Shikhar Dhawan smashed a scintillating 63 run as Sunrisers Hyderabad recovered from early shock to give a competitive total.
A sparkling 67-run hit by MS Dhoni helped CSK chase down 160-run target in the final over and beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 5 wickets in the IPL clash. Chennai had a terrific start as Mike Hussey and Murali Vijay scored 50 in just 5.2 overs. After a terrific start, Chennai Super Kings lost three quick wickets to help Sunrisers Hyderabad bounce back.
With the required 15 runs off last over, Dhoni held his nerve and finished the game in style.
